About Us

"The future of our parks is in the hands of Friends like you!" Supporters have established a friends group for Eaton County Parks.  The Friends of Eaton County Parks is a non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of supporting and advocating for our park system. 

Your support provides scholarships for environmental education and naturalist programs, as well as special projects and park improvements.

The Friends of Eaton County Parks meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln Brick Park Interpretive Center. Located at 13991 Tallman Road, Grand Ledge.

Mission

  • Create awareness and encourage the enjoyment of public parks in Eaton County.
  • To promote the preservation, expansion, and enhancement of parks and recreational facilities.
  • To support governmental jurisdictions in their efforts to provide environmental education and interpretative programs to residents.
  • To support the programs and undertakings of parks in Eaton County through volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and program and event sponsorship.
  • To publicize the value of land stewardship and land conservation to the end that future generations of County citizens will enjoy parks in Eaton County.

Friends of Eaton County Parks is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.
