Animals turned into the Animal Control Facility for the most part are stray animals. There is little or no known information about the animals. Stray animals are held seven to ten business days at the facility for an owner of a lost pet to claim. If you see your pet, or see one you may be interested in adopting, contact the kennel at 517-543-5755, during regular business hours. There are also other animals in the facility that are not pictured. If you do not see your lost pet, or are looking for a pet not pictured, stop into the facility during regular business hours to view our "guests." Consider adoption as you might just meet your next best friend at our facility.

REDEMPTION FEES:
Impounding Fee (First Offense) $20.00
Impounding Fee (Second Offense) $30.00
Impounding Fee (Third Offense) $50.00
Additional Offenses within a one year period from the date of last offense $50.00
Boarding Fee ($5.00 for the first day and $4.00 for each additional day)
THE ANIMAL CONTROL DEPARTMENT HAS THE AUTHORITY TO RELEASE A DOG SIX MONTHS OR OLDER TO THE LEGAL OWNER ONLY.

Boarding Fee ($4.00 for the first day and $3.00 for each additional day. Maximun total adoption fee $38.00)
