Eaton County is located just west of the greater Lansing, Michigan area. The County seat is Charlotte which is located in the center of Eaton County 20 miles southwest of Lansing. The Sheriff's Office is responsible for general law enforcement activities throughout the County and provides contractual police services to Delta and Oneida Townships , as well as the Village of Vermontville. A satellite office is also located in Windsor Township.
The Sheriff's Office is organized into three main divisions.
A technology initiative of the Information Systems Department.
