Resource Recovery Announces 2010 Events!

In 2009, Resource Recovery programs recycled or properly disposed of 87 TONS of materials, including 41 tons of household hazardous waste & electronics that were safely recovered and properly disposed.

    Spring Book Recycling Event

Thanks Eaton County for a successful Book Recycling Event!  5,250 lbs of books were reused or recycled!  Watch for another event in the Fall of 2010!

This is a FREE event organized by the Eaton County Department of Resource Recovery.  

Library groups and used book sellers are invited to attend any Eaton County Book Recycling event to sort through and acquire books brought to the event. 

Accepted items include hard-covered and soft-covered books, magazines, telephone books, cardboard and boxboard.

Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling events require an appointment!

Appointment schedules are opened 8 weeks in advance of each Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling event.

Passenger, SUV, Truck, Light Semi, Semi & Agricultural tires accepted. 

Skid steer, OTR, Loader, Earth Movers and Airplane tires are NOT accepted.
