FREE SNOWMOBILE SAFETY CLASS
Sheriff Tom Reich announces a free Snowmobile Safety class.
The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting the Snowmobile Safety class:
Monday and Tuesday, December 16 and 17, 2013
The class will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a total of 4 hours of instruction in the Sheriff’s Office Training Room, 1025 Independence Blvd, Charlotte. There is no charge for the class.

Classes are for Adults and Children 12 years old or older. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 years old are required to possess this certificate anytime they are operating a snowmobile in the State of Michigan, unless they are on their parent's private property or under the supervision of someone 21 years of age or older.
Class is presented in a two night format, participants must attend both days of the class, successful participants will receive a certificate.
In Class, students will learn: Snowmobile operating skills, maintenance, emergency repairs, rules of the road and sign recognition, along with conservation, winter survival and other essential topics.
