Helping people appreciate the out-of-doors through a better understanding of nature's communities and conservation practices is an important role of the Eaton County Parks Department. The Department employs a full time Naturalist to work with and provide programs for interested schools, clubs, civic groups and the community to promote the wise use of Michigan's natural resources.
