Human Resources
The Eaton County Personnel Office is a division under the Controller's Office. Responsibilities of the Personnel Office include handling current job postings, employee recruitment, implementing policies, establishing programs and employee relations.

Treasurer
The treasurer is a constitutional officer of the county, elected to four year terms, and is custodian of all county funds, records revenue, collects delinquent property taxes, custodian of all property tax rolls and certifications, foreclosing governmental unit for tax-delinquent properties, serves on the Elections Committee, Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, and manages dog licenses.

Veterans Services
The Eaton County Veteran Services Coordinator serves as an advocate for county veterans in obtaining federal, state and local benefits they may be entitled to. Types of federal benefits include military related or service connected compensation, non-military service connected pension, dependent and survivor benefits, healthcare and other miscellaneous benefits such as education. Assistance is also provided by connecting veterans with state and local emergency aid and burial assistance. The Department also coordinates and provides transportation to the Ann Arbor VA Hospital three days per week by appointment.

Road Commission
The Eaton County Road Commission (ECRC) is responsible for over 1,170 miles of county roads. The majority lie outside incorporated areas. ECRC also provides traffic control and maintains the roadsides. The Mission of ECRC is to maintain all Eaton County roads and bridges that are under their care in a condition that is reasonably safe and convenient for public travel and to faithfully discharge such other duties as state law may require.
