Community Development
The Eaton County Community Development Department provides a public service to the local units of government and citizens of Eaton County in the areas of Economic Development, Housing and Veterans Services. The Department is dedicated to improving and sustaining the quality of the natural and built environment that attracts business investments and residential growth in the county, as well as the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Eaton County. Our goal is to promote and enhance the community by providing fair, high quality, streamlined permit processes and services to all of the department’s customers.

Veterans Services
The Eaton County Veterans Services Office is an advocate for the veterans and their dependents who reside in Eaton County. We can provide assistance to veterans and their dependents.

Emergency Home Repair
Eaton County administers an Emergency Repair Program. No interest, no payment loans to Eaton County residents who meet federal, state and County Housing Program guidelines may be provided.
