Day Treatment
About the Program:
The Day Treatment Program is a therapeutic and academic directed Program respectively. By placing a strong emphasis on formal/informal therapeutic intervention methods and academics, the Program Treatment Staff focuses on development and enhancement of each Student’s understanding and use of decision-making skills and self-discipline. The Treatment Staff believes a stronger sense of character and desire to succeed can result from the development and/or improvement of: appropriate social skills, problem-solving skills, productive/appropriate behaviors, academic/vocational skills, and high self-esteem.
Services Provided to the Day-Treatment Youth:
- Academics: students attend school year-round, 5 days a week, with Teachers who coordinate with the Grand Ledge Public School District. The school system does accommodate special education services

- Ele's Place (grief support group)

Day- Treatment Curfew Times by Levels
Curfew for youth on Orientation:
On this phase you are to remain in your home during all hours of the day and night unless you are with your parent(s) and have made prior arrangements with your probation officer, Kellie Ward. (A schedule change or request to leave left on a voicemail or email will not be considered authorization or permission to leave.)
Curfew for youth on level one:
On this phase you are to remain in your home during all hours of the day and night unless you are with your parent(s) or guardian(s). If you are going to be away from home for more than two hours, it must be pre-arranged and approved through your probation officer, Kellie Ward, during regular business hours. If you leave your home for any reason, you will need to call Day Treatment and leave a message stating when you left and where you are going. Then have your parent(s) or guardian(s) verify this on the phone. Upon you return, you will call Day Treatment and leave another message with parental verification. Additionally, your whereabouts within the home will be known to your parent(s) or guardian(s) at all times and you will be readily available when your presence is requested
Curfew for youth on level two:
A. Age 12-14 - 8:00 pm
B. Age 15-16 - 8:30pm
C. Age 17+ - 9:00 pm
Curfew for youth on level three:
A. Age 12-14 - 8:30 pm
B. Age 15-16 - 9:00 pm
C. Age 17+ - 9:30 pm
**You will be allowed an additional 30 minutes of curfew time on either Friday or Saturday, but not both. Please inform the Day Treatment Staff and your Probation Officer prior to the weekend which day you plan to utilize your late night.
Curfew for youth on level four:
A. Age 12-14 - 8:30 pm
B. Age 15-16 - 9:00 pm
C. Age 17+ - 9:30 pm
**You will be allowed an additional 1 hour of curfew time on either Friday or Saturday, but not both. Please inform the Day Treatment Staff and your Probation Officer prior to the weekend which day you plan to utilize your late night.
Curfew for youth on Aftercare:
A. Age 12-14- 9:00 pm
B. Age 15-16- 9:30 pm
C. Age 17 + - 10:00 pm
*You will be allowed ONE late night privilege, of an additional 1 hour, either Friday or Saturday, but not both. This only applies when you are not placed on GPS tether. Please declare your late night to your probation officer, Kellie Ward, by 5:00 pm on Friday. If you fail to do so, you will forfeit your late night privileges for that weekend. You MUST get special permission from your probation officer to be out beyond curfew or away from my home/parent(s) overnight. Please report to your probation officer if you go anywhere with your parent(s) overnight.
