About the Program:
The LINK Program supports students on probation while they are suspended or expelled from school. Youth may also be expected to attend the LINK Program if they are transitioning from one school to another for the days they are not actively enrolled.
The purpose of the LINK Program is to provide youth with a structured environment where they can complete school assignments and have the opportunity to receive help on assignments if needed as an alternative to out-of-home placements. The youth have opportunities to meet with therapists, caseworkers, court officials and school staff are provided when necessary.
The LINK Program runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 2pm during the school year and Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm in the summer. If rides are needed to get students to or from the Youth Facility, Eatran rides can be scheduled by calling (517) 543-4087. Eatran is open Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
When school is not in session, the LINK Program provides youth with the opportunity to complete community service hours, learn anger management techniques and learn about healthy social skills.
