Circuit Court
The Circuit Court is a trial court of general jurisdiction established by the Michigan Constitution of 1908. The Circuit Court has jurisdiction over civil cases over $25,000, all criminal felonies and high court misdemeanors, and all domestic relations cases, as well as a variety of other matters.

Circuit Court Clerk
The Circuit Court is the Trial Court with the broadest powers in Michigan. In general, the circuit court handles all civil cases with claims of more than $25,000.00 and all felony criminal cases.

The Eaton County Community Corrections Division provides a wide array of sentencing alternatives for all types of non-violent offenders. Programs include Adult Circuit Drug Court, J. Sauter Veterans Treatment Court, Felony Sobriety Court and the Swift and Sure Sanctions Probation Program.
