Eaton County Law Enforcement Agencies participate in “FILL-A-COP CAR” Event
On Saturday, November 28th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Law Enforcement officers throughout Eaton County will be participating in our annual county-wide Fill-A-Cop Car event. Our goal is to FILL OUR COP CARS with groceries and non-perishable items. Officers will be at the grocery stores listed below with the purpose of helping to fill our local food banks. Police Officers chose their profession so that they can help others. During this time of year we often experience families in need, but don’t have the ability to help directly. By filling our patrol cars, we can see to it that those who need a helping hand can get it. We are asking that you purchase an extra item or two and help us help those that are less fortunate.
Officers will be at the following locations in Eaton County:
Kroger in Delta Township
Wal-Mart in Delta Township
Wal-Mart in Charlotte
Carl’s Supermarket in Dimondale
Dollar General in Potterville
All food collected at these locations will be donated to the pantry at the Methodist Church in Potterville, Helping Hands in Charlotte, Presbyterian Church in Dimondale, and St. Vincent de Paul (St. Gerard’s Conference) in Lansing. The officers of the Charlotte Police Department, Potterville Police Department, Michigan State Police and the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office appreciate your generosity during this holiday season.
